Electrical Power Distribution

The electrical grid delivers electricity from regional power plants to local customers. When demand increases or issues occur the electric companies must be ready with a fast solution, as lives (older people on respiratory equipment as an example) are at stake. As a society we often take this for granted, but realize that without electricity we'd still be living the "dark ages" (pun intended). Issues or problems can be solved with the solution of distributed generation, or the utilization of electric generators distributed at native sites in place of huge regional power plants.
